Legion beats Huron
• Groton Post #39 hosted Huron Tuesday night and sent the visiting team home with a 7-3 defeat. Groton scored seven runs on eight hits and had two errors. Huron scored three runs on six hits and had one error.
• Ryan Delzer led the Groton battery with three hits while Kalen Kjelsen, Matt Thorson, Jamie Jorgensen, Dalton Locke and Michael Erickson each had a hit. Delzer was the winning pitcher, having six hits, 10 walks, four strike-outs and one hit by pitch. Thorson was the catcher.
Teener beat Warner in pair
• The Teeners defeated Warner in a pair of games, 24-11 and 21-4.
• In the first game, Alec Voss had three singles and a double, Spencer Knecht had two doubles and a single, Drew Planteen had a home run, a double and a single, Alec Oleson had a home run and two singles, Parker Rossow had a home run, Mason Madsen had a double and two singles, Kasey Kurtz had two singles and Jackson Doeden had a single.
