A cold front will move across the region today. This front will provide the focus for severe storms, with hail, strong winds, and possibly tornadoes. Current thinking is that the front will move at least as far as the James valley before storms begin to develop. While this will be the focus area for severe weather, thunderstorms may still be possible elsewhere across the region.
