SD seeks applicants for State Investment Council
• PIERRE, S.D. (AP) -- A South Dakota legislative panel is seeking applicants for a vacancy on the State Investment Council. • The council is responsible for investing state revenues and determining state investment policies, particularly for the South Dakota Retirement System. • The eight-member Investment Council includes three state officials and five members appointed by the Executive Board, which handles management and administrative issues for the Legislature. The Executive Board will make one appointment this year.
