1 man hospitalized, 1 in custody after shooting

• RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) -- Rapid City police say one man is in critical condition and another is in custody after an overnight shooting.
• Police say officers were called to the outside of a residence at 4:50 a.m. Saturday and found a conscious 28-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his head. They say a witness told them that the man was shot after a suspect asked him for a cigarette.
• Officers later found the suspect lying in thick brush and used a service dog and bean bag rounds to flush him out.

• Police say they arrested 20-year-old Kelsey Reavis of Rapid City on charges of attempted murder and aggravated assault. Attorney information for Reavis was not immediately available.
• The victim, who was not identified, was taken to Rapid City Regional Hospital.
