Meeting Minutes

Town of Westport General Meeting

August 6th, 2018

The Town of Westport met on August 6th, 2018 with Tim Selzler, Shane Storm, Mike Wilson, & Doreen Hertel present.

The following expenses were presented:

City General

NWPS ($222.98), Groton Independent ($15.76), EDDIE’s Northside- Gas ($219.60), Brown County Treasurer –Mosquito spraying ($586.30) & Kelly Storm – Mowing ($307.99)

Sewer

NWPS ($44.44), NRWA –loan repayment ($210.13) 

Water

WEB ($1,181.61), Dept. of Revenue ($15.00), & Water Maintenance District ($408.16).

Tim Selzler made motion to pay all bills; second by Mike Wilson.

The following deposits were presented:

City General

Brown County Collections ($311.60), State of SD ($866.19), Building Permits $(40.00)  & Interest ($28.59). 

Sewer

Resident Payments- ($1,627.50).

Water

Resident Payments – ($3,310.03).

NEW BUSINESS:

The budget for 2019 was presented and approved.

The board voted to approve an electricity line to the city shop.  

Reminders will be sent to people with lots that need mowing.

The next city meeting will be postponed a week due to the Labor Day holiday. We will meet on September 10th.
