JULY 31, 2018 - JOINT ABERDEEN CITY/BROWN COUNTY MEETING

The Brown County Commission and the Aberdeen City Council met in joint session at 8:45 A.M. in the Brown County Commission Chambers, 25 Market Street, Aberdeen, SD.  Present from City were Council Members Bunsness, Johnson, Lunzman, Olson, Remily and Mayor Levsen.  Council Members Ronayne, Rux and Slaight-Hansen were absent.  Present from County were Commissioners Fjeldheim, Sutton, Fischbach and Hansen.  Commissioner Kippley was absent.

ORDINANCE #18-07-02 /478:  On motion by Bunsness and seconded by Remily, the City unanimously adopted Ordinance #18-07-02 /478.  Moved by Fischbach, seconded by Sutton to adopt Ordinance #18-07-02/478, An Ordinance to amend Ordinance No. 1164 to rezone the following described property from its present zoning designation of (A-1) Agricultural District to (M-AG) Mini-Agricultural District: Lot 14, Block 3, Moulton’s First Subdivision in the SE ¼ of Sec 2-T122N-R64W of the 5th P.M., Brown County, South Dakota (Lot directly West of 13687 387th Avenue).  Roll call vote: Commissioners Hansen-aye, Sutton-aye, Fischbach-aye, Kippley-absent, Fjeldheim-aye.  Motion carried.  

ORDINANCE #18-07-03/479: On motion by Bunsness and seconded by Remily, the City unanimously adopted Ordinance #18-07-03/479.  Moved by Hansen, seconded by Fischbach to adopt Ordinance #18-07-03/479, An Ordinance to amend Ordinance No. 1164 to rezone the following described property from its present zoning designation of (C-2) Highway Commercial District to (R-2) Medium Density Residential District: Lots 1 & 2, Peter Reinbold Exception in the SW ¼ of Sec 2-T123N-R64W of the 5th P.M., Brown County, South Dakota (1402 and 1412 24th Ave NW).  Roll call vote: Commissioners Hansen-aye, Sutton-aye, Fischbach-aye, Kippley-absent, Fjeldheim-aye.  Motion carried.  

The City Council adjourned and the County Commission continued in regular session.
