Primary Election

NOTICE OF PRIMARY ELECTION

A Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, in all the Vote Centers in Brown County.  The election Vote Centers will be open from seven a.m. to seven p.m. central daylight savings time on the day of the election.

No longer are voters required to vote within precinct jurisdictions. Voters can cast ballots at any of the following Vote Centers in Brown County:

1-1 AmericInn Event Center, 301 Centennial St S, Aberdeen, SD

1-2 Best Western Ramkota Hotel and Convention Center, 1400 8th Ave NW, Aberdeen SD (north convention center entrance)

1-3 Courthouse Community Room, 25 Market Street, Aberdeen SD 

1-4 Columbia Legion, 102 N Broadway, Columbia SD 

1-5 Westport Town Hall, 13 W Main, Westport, SD

1-6 Warner Community Center, 11 W Main Street, Warner SD

1-7 Stratford Community Center, 293 E Rondell Ave, Stratford SD

1-8 Groton Community Center, 109 N 3rd Street, Groton SD

1-9 Claremont Fire Station, 505 6th Street, Claremont SD

1-10 Hecla Community Center, 206 Main Street, Hecla SD

1-11 Frederick Community Center, 2nd Ave, Frederick SD

Any voter who needs assistance, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may contact the county auditor at 605-626-7110 before the election for information on polling place accessibility for people with disabilities.
