The Board of Trustees for the Town of Claremont met in regular session on 3-15-18 at 7:00 p.m. in City Hall.
President Johnson called the meeting to order with Jason Spencer present and Frank Rasmussen absent.
The minutes of the Feburary meeting were read and on a motion by Spencer and seconded by Johnson were approved as read.
On a motion by Johnson and seconded by Spencer the following warrants were allowed:
NWE, lights, 335.60; Butler Machinery, repairs for road grader, 366.54; James Valley, phone and internet, 86.26; First State Bank, loan on mower, 1660.26; Groton Daily Independent, minutes published, 15.76; Claremont Township, 1/2 cemetery mowing, 1675.49; Jason Spencer, 16 hours / snow, 236.42; Charla Rye, wage, 350.00; Langford Post Prom, donation, 50.00.
NWE, water and sewer, 502.70; BDM, water used, 826.90; Dept. of Revenue, water sample, 15.00; Rural Development, loan payment, 576.00; Melinda Spencer, meter reading, 184.00.
Board of Equalization will be held on the 19th day of March at 7 p.m. in City Hall.
As there are no petitions filed, there will be no election in the Town of Claremont.
With no further business before the board a motion to adjourn was made by Spencer and seconded by Johnson. Motion carried.
